Amazing :D
Doesn't make them magically look better..
There is a reason why the cars in PGR3 look better in the garage than while you are racing even though the output signal is the same. Reason is they are rendered at different resolutions. 720p in the garage and something quite a bit less while racing.
Really is sad. True GAMERS are happy about advancements. non-gamers are bitter
Zelda, Devil May Cry 4, Lost Planet, BioShock, Lair, NG:Sigma, Motorstorm, Resistance, Halo 3, etc.. Will all be mine!
"And sony fans should be happy too. You got games custom built for your system and 1080p games are becoming a reality. Great news for both systems. Even if it only really effects a very minute amount of gamers with 1080p tvs....

I kid ;)
Good to see though. Lost Planet looks great.
from their mouth was BS. Good to see they are finally doing something about it. Good move MS :)
Amazing, just stunning :)
It's great to be a gamer. Thank you!
and yes Resistance is using 7.1 :)
Today has been overwhelming, such a flood of amazing news and gameplay footage for gamers today with the PS3:)
but the gameplay feels old school in a good way.. Reminds me of many of the old 2d shooters. The demo is fantastic and that is old and way before the game will be released.
Capcom rocks
This does look better than the other gameplay pics, but not nearly close to the CGI they fed us at E3.

That mosquito type thing looks just like the Metroid Prime 2 boss!
"was a sony fan -
and how long would it take to develop a game with lots of difrent textures etc ? oblivian took like nearly 4 years to make and the game is huge and pure eye candy at that to . as for oblivian gates reapeting lol it still has viriaty in the caves in there . if this is the case then they still had like 3 gb left to play with so ur comment dosnt make sence ."
My point has nothing to do with development. Just pointing out the facts and that is th...
as to how bigger than DVD would be an advantage.
50+ Oblivion gates with all having the exact same textures repeated over and over, just different layouts for some. Imagine if they were all different instead of all the same.
The dialog in ES:IV is very impressive however.

For component, you get gaming up to 1080p, and 1080i for HD DVD. DVD only works at 480p over this connection. The latter two are due to restrictions in DVD CCA and AACS rules for DVD and HD DVD playback respectively.
On gaming, the machine supports both scaling of 720p games to 1080p, and ...

based on the comnents I make when those people start moving in and out of that damn house so fast.
You mean games like Resident Evil (I know, shocking as they were on the Cube.) shocking, games like Red Steel that are violent.
And past violent games like Mario pissing his firehose over innocent oil messes.
only xbotics could be such hypocrites to "forget"
